Who do I think I am?
Born and Raised in the Beautiful NorthWest. I am inching pretty close to Forty, and can now feel it coming in my bones.
I am a Computer guy by trade, and have spent most of the last 15 years teaching people how to use Microsoft Office Products, as well as designing solutions for them. I have recently taken a far more active interest in Open Source software, and have hauled off and installed Ubuntu as my operating system.
I am big into reading, very eclectic tastes, but mostly Sci-Fi, History, Philosophy. I just wish I had more time.
I am a Staff Seargent in the Army Reserves, which keeps me fit. I have to say that being in the reserves has been a great experience, I have learned a lot, gained a very deep appreciation for what we have here in the US, and have picked up some pretty cool skills. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2004, and feel fortunate to have done so.
I will unfortunately miss my 10th Anniversary, not the first anniversary spent away from home on behalf of the Army, and probably not the last. I think I need to talk to them about the way they are scheduling these wars and things.

Hey JC!
How are ya? Yes, finally getting around to posting you a message. Nice site and I am glad you are still doing well. I just got back from 6 days on the trail. I did Highway 2 to I-90 along the Pacific Crest – we will have to do some of the areas when you get back. I hope all is well and talk to you soon. –e
